Jewel's date with Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa made Adrian and I a fabulous dinner and then babysat for us while we went on a date.

The date was lovely, but after only 6 short weeks, you forget what is romantic and spend your date time going to Superstore to buy toilet paper (it is very difficult to fit a big thing of toilet paper on your stoller when shopping with a Jewel Bug).

Papa (Perry) said he wouldn't be a mush pot when he had grandchildren...

However, he spent the whole time doing this!

Jewel's first Super Bowl

Jewel cuddles her favorite Nana for the entire night, she has a favorite Mammie too, but Mammie was busy moving closer to Jewel Bug!

Not too much to report here... Jewel loves football as much as her mom and slept through the entire game! But she did wear a cute outfit to the party, which is definitely worth posting.

Jewel cannot wait for her little friend baby Gormley to come out and visit, so she bought baby Gormley a prezzie to try and convince him or her... I don't think it's worked yet...

Owen's 1st Birthday

On February 3rd Jewel attended her first birthday party. She wore her ballet slippers and then adorned a party hat and noise maker when we arrived!

We all had great fun and would like to thank Owen and parents for the invitation. P.S. the cake was amazing!

This is how I spent my 1 Month birthday...

This is the first time Jewel actually followed something with her eyes, I know the novelty of a first child, but sad to say she followed the puppies not her mommy... they were flying puppies which is a little bit more exciting than the milk parlor.



I am on to you puppies, you are no more real than that unicorn they keep leaving me with.


Then she spent part of the day lounging on her duck blanket... there seems to be an animal theme here...
